Electrify Marin Program
Offers cash rebates to homeowners and renters who replace gas-powered appliances with efficient electric alternatives—including heat pump water heaters, heat pump HVAC systems, induction cooktops/ranges, heat pump clothes dryers, and electrical panel upgrades when needed.
Income-qualified households may receive enhanced rebates.
Note: The program’s remaining funds are projected to be exhausted by end of October 2025.
BayREN (Bay Area Regional Energy Network)
Offers rebates for energy-efficient upgrades such as heat pump water heaters, heat pump space heating/cooling, smart thermostats, insulation, ducting, and more. Available in Tiburon and likely across Marin County.

Energy Upgrade California™ Home Upgrade supports improvements like insulation, HVAC, air sealing, water heating, etc.
Federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) may also apply for high-efficiency electric appliances like heat pumps or heat pump water heaters.
